The studio's new production, now owned by Microsoft, is working on a project that has not yet been officially revealed.
It's only been a few days since Epic Games announced the new version of its graphics engine. Unreal Engine 5 was shown through a technical demo that ran on the PlayStation 5 hardware. However, improvements will come to both next-generation systems. Microsoft studios will continue betting on this external technology in some of their projects for Xbox Series X and PC, although until now specific titles were unknown. InXile Entertainment, responsible for Wasteland 3, have broken the silence and have revealed that their unannounced video game will use that engine.
They have confirmed it on their official Twitter account, where they have expressed the following: “Thank you. We are excited to share more, although it will take a while. We are focused on finishing Wasteland 3 to bring it into the hands of the players on August 28. We will, of course, use Unreal Engine 5 in our next project. ”

Phil Spencer already warned
After the official presentation of Unreal Engine 5, the head of the Xbox division congratulated Epic Games on the result of the presentation. Also through social media, Phil Spencer claimed that many of Microsoft's internal studios were working with Unreal. The confusion occurred because he pointed to Hellblade 2 as an example, something that many interpreted as if the Ninja Theory game was built with that engine. Xbox Series X will go on sale in late 2020.
