The Outer Worlds presents its second expansion, Murder on Eridanos; date and trailer

Obsidian reveals the first trailer and release date for the second planned expansion for The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos. New data.

The Outer Worlds presents Murder on Eridanos, the second and final expansion prepared for the Obsidian Entertainment RPG. It will arrive on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC on March 17. The company has published a cinematic trailer in which we see the first plot strokes.

This is Murder on Eridanos, the second expansion of the Outer Worlds

Players will venture into the floating islands of Eridanos, where they must unravel the mystery behind the murder of a member of Halcyon. To complete the objective we will have a new tool: the discrepancy amplifier. When we have it equipped, key clues will be highlighted to advance in the mission, which at first glance go unnoticed. From the Hotel Gran Colonial to the meadows of Rizzo, the study points to visual diversity in this space.

In addition to the amplifier, we can expect a range of new weapons and cosmetic parts for the character. Specifically, three new scientific weapons will be added to the inventory. Nor do they forget the progression, since we can advance three levels above the limit with which to access new advantages.

We must emphasize that Murder on Eridanos is part of the expansion pass, sold separately from the standard copies. If you don’t have it, you can purchase it individually. For its part, The Outer World is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch; Thanks to the compatibility system that accompanies the new generation, it is also playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. In the Xbox ecosystem it is part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog, that is, if you are subscribed you can buy the expansion with a small discount.

So far the release date of Murder on Eridanos on Nintendo Switch has not transcended. Hopefully it will do so at some point in the future, but it will not do so on the same day as the other systems.
