Nomada Studio celebrates this milestone through the social hands of Devolver Digital and they share a commemorative illustration.
Nomada Studio has revealed through its official Twitter account that GRIS has exceeded one million units sold worldwide. The Catalan studio, together with its publisher Devolver Digital, have managed to sell these copies since the launch of the title back in 2018 on platforms such as PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.
"We are excited to announce that GRIS has sold over a million copies … crazy," they comment on the social network, where they thank family, partners and the publisher for their support at all times. The message is accompanied by a special illustration with the protagonist: "1 million thanks." For a few weeks now, the game has also been available on Android devices.

From FreeGameTips we were able to interview Roger Mendoza, co-founder of Nomada Studio, last December during our visit to Bilbao on the occasion of Fun & Serious 2019. The manager explained to us how his relationship with Devolver Digital, a great publisher, and the fears that they had throughout the development when having so few people and being so highly focused on attracting attention for their artistic section.
"At the meeting, although we sensed that they liked it a lot, four months passed and the point came that we thought they wanted to sign with us, but they didn't tell us, so we started talking to other publishers," Mendoza told this newspaper about the pre-agreement with Devolver Digital. "We had no more money: either we signed or closed." The game has finally turned out to be a success. Now the team is working on their next video game.
GRAY | Nomada Studio
Back in 2018, when the game had not been released, we were able to chat with Conrad Roset, illustrator and director of the work. During the conversation, he did not hesitate to convey to us that his intention was none other than to create "a work of art". Whether they did it or not is something that players must judge, but the title has won prizes in many national and international competitions; among them, the award for Best Game for Impact at The Game Awards 2019.
GRAY is currently playable on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and both iOS and Android devices. In our original Reviews we rated it with a remarkable high.
