Bruce Straley and other personalities of the video game will receive an honorary award, while the best titles of the year will be awarded.
The year is over and it is time to take stock, reflect on what the industry has given itself and uncover what are the best titles that have been marketed over the past 12 months. As usual, the Fun & Serious Festival presents the Titanium Awards, which award the best video games of 2019. In addition, Bruce Straley, one of the architects of The Last of Us, will be recognized for his career.
There will be more personalities that get the honorary prize. The composer Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy XV) will attend the gala, as will Tim Willits, until recently, the head of id Software. Last but not least, Greg Street, vice president of Intellectual Property of Riot Games, will also raise one of the statuettes.
In total, 16 prizes distributed in different categories will be awarded, with which the organization intends to recognize the most interesting proposals of 2019. The well-known caster Ibai Llanos will be responsible for entertaining the evening with his interventions, although the presentation of the gala falls into the hands of the journalist Quique Peinado, known mainly for his work as a radio sports announcer. Hairstyle will enjoy the presence of actress Yllenia Baglietto and Claudio Serrano, voice of Batman and Deacon St, protagonist of Days Gone. In addition, the Wismichu influencer will participate in a charity video game tournament.

What games lead the nominations?
Nominations have already been made public. Control, the new thing about Remedy Entertainment, is the title that heads the largest number of them, as it is nominated in 6 categories. Not far away, A Plague Tale: Innocence, with 5 nominations, will seek its triumphant night. Meanwhile, Death Stranding has also won 5 nominations. Hideo Kojima's work, launched last November, is also, together with Control, one of the great favorites of The Game Awards 2019.
The gala will take place at the Campos Elíseos Theater in Bilbao, within the framework of the Fun and Serious Festival, whose activities will take place from December 6 to 9.
