The Waylanders Announces Cast: Actors of Game of Thrones, Final Fantasy VII Remake and More

Gato Studio's Spanish RPG succeeded in its Kickstarter campaign and continues its development process on PC.

Gato Studio has revealed the actors who will participate in The Waylanders, a role-playing title that managed to reap great success in its Kickstarter campaign, after managing to exceed the goal of 132,892 euros. The Spanish studio has set the launch date for early access for the summer of 2020. But before its premiere, it wanted to present the interpreters who will bring to life the main characters of this project set in the Celtic era.

"The studio behind the development of The Waylanders has managed to compose a team of actors that has a presence in renowned video games, movies and series," they explain in a press release. "The cast that will give voice to the heroes, villains and creatures of Celtic mythology that appear in the game." And to make that vision a reality, they have had professionals experienced in film, series or video game sagas such as Star Wars, Game of Thrones or Final Fantasy VII Remake.

List of confirmed actors

  • Ralph Ineson plays King Ith ded Kaltia, the beloved ruler of the Celts. According to the information, his relationship with the protagonist will vary depending on the origin chosen by the player. He has worked on productions such as Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, the Harry Potter saga, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

  • Amber Rose Revah becomes Nazhedja, a Seer is immortal who can see the future. This enigmatic character has lived longer than anyone, not to mention that he has held himself high in Moure society. They consider her the most reputed magical authority, something that Nazhedja adores. The seer is able to observe all aspects of the past and the future. Among other roles, the actress plays Dinah Madani in the Netflix series The Punisher.

  • Ash Sroka plays Tiana, commander of the Celtic army and one of the possible successors of the Queen of Brigantia, a position she does not long for. This military prefers to continue in its role as commander, although it is aware that its aptitudes and political support make it the ideal candidate. Ash Sroka was Tali'Zorah in the Mass Effect saga, one of the most beloved characters in the universe created by BioWare.

  • Simon Templeman is Amergin, an intelligent and resourceful Celtic human determined to restore balance to the world. He is one of the magical authorities among humans, but given his youth, immortals disregard him. One of Templeman's featured roles is that of Loghain in Dragon Age.

  • Rosalind Eleazar is Khaldun, the necromancer. Firstborn of a noble family from Meroe, she was sent to Egypt for a quality education in Alexandria. She is a priestess of Osiris at the court of King Ith. Rosalind Eleazar has experience in series such as Return to Howards End, Rellik or Lore.

  • Colin Salmon plays the role of a teacher. Tireless traveler, Berath has become a true explorer. The actor is known for his roles in the Resident Evil saga, Alien vs. Predator, Arrow or Krypton, among others.

  • Lisa Jacobs plays Delba, the huge warrior Fomore. As the champion of a race that lives underground, Delba is known for her strength, size, ferocity, and fondness for jokes. Younger daughter of King Fomore, as well as one of the youngest of her race at just a few centuries old, Delba dreams of going to the surface and showing humans that the Fomori are not the monsters that they appear to be. Lisa Jacobs is known for her work in The Attic: The Hideout of Anna Frank, The Minister's Woman, and The Criminal.
