CD Projekt was able to extend the license agreement with The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski. A new game is therefore speculated.

The renewed license agreement gives CD Projekt full rights to video games, board games and merchandise based on The Witcher universe. In a statement from CD Projekt they write:

"We have always admired Mr. Andrzej Sapkowski's work – great inspiration for the team here at CD Projekt Red," said Adam Kiciński, President and CEO of CD Projekt. "I believe that today is a new stage in our ongoing relationship."

Whether you can already see this as confirmation for a new game, one can still enjoy with caution. CD Projekt had always emphasized how important the series was for you and you were thinking about what you could do with it in the future.

First, however, the release of Cyberpunk 2077 is due, which will be released in April 2020. More on The Witcher is currently on Netflix, where the series on the game and novel started on Friday.
