The Wonderful 101 Remastered opens Kickstarter for Switch, PS4 and PC

PlatinumGames makes official the campaign of collective financing for its Wii U video game for its launch on current platforms with improvements.

PlatinumGames has officially launched its own Kickstarter campaign to realize The Wonderful 101 Remastered, the remastering of its own original Wii U video game of 2013 for current platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PC and PS4. Thus, and after intense rumors that pointed to a possible campaign of collective financing for the development and publication of the new version of the video game by its creators, it has finally become a reality.

Objective achieved: it will reach Nintendo Switch

And at the time of writing this news, the Kickstarter campaign already exceeds 200,000 euros at the hands of more than 3,500 sponsors of a necessary total of 54,127 euros, so the Nintendo Switch version is already more than assured. Although everything seems to indicate that there will be no problems to overcome the 250,000 euros needed to get to PC through Steam and 500.00 euros to do the same on PS4.

So much so, that the Kickstarter campaign will remain open until March 6, 2020 for all those users who want to contribute their grain of sand in the form of money to make such remastering a reality and take some gifts depending on the amount contributed.

Gifts from the most curious who reveal the ingenious personality of the PlantinumGames team with the always-happening Hideki Kamiya in front; And it is that among the different gifts we find key chains, t-shirts, a digital comic, a disc with the soundtrack, the game in physical format and even the possibility of being blocked on Twitter by Kamiya himself. And no, it is not a joke.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered is scheduled to arrive at the selected platforms sometime next April with different graphic improvements, new game modes and other news that will be presented in the coming weeks compared to the original Wii U version.
