This is the name of the Quasar Dynamics game, a Valencian studio founded in 2017 by Javier Ortizá together with his partners Mike Galeck and Pedro Cuenca, which aims to offer a new horror experience for PS4’s virtual reality, the PS VR. What started as a technical demo helped it evolve into a Playstation 4 game, taking inspiration from horror titles and offering a mechanic similar to the Escape Room, where game time per game is limited and the elements will change. from the stage every time it is played.
The game stars Michael J Goreng, a zoologist and epidemiologist who tries to escape from the house he is trapped in while discovering where his wife and daughter are. Goreng must solve various puzzles while facing various paranormal phenomena. The key to the title is its high replayability, since the puzzles and events change in each game and that will allow us to know different endings of the game to learn the true story in all its glory.
Humble but with ambition
According to the company’s CEO, Ortizá, his idea was not to make the biggest game they could imagine, but “a small game, infinitely replayable and of which we feel proud with the passage of time.” A title, they emphasize, of humble philosophy but that wants to resemble the great exponents of the genre.
