For some time, the fans want a new Tony Hawk, where it did not quite work out with the latter implementations, as desired. But maybe a remaster would be exactly what could fill that gap.
Rumors are currently circulated on Twitter, according to which Activision has probably created new prototypes that are already doing the rounds internally to collect feedback. Only the purpose is not clear, whether you want to pursue a completely new game or take a remaster.

According to the insider, it is now time to wait and see if Activision comments or even announces a game in the near future. The need for skate games is there anyway. So one asks again and again after the skate series of EA, which currently seems to have no great interest in it. The only bright spot is currently the project 'Sesssion', which has only been released for PC and Xbox One.
