PQube presents its new bet on horror adventures with a classic cut title that will arrive on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch in 2021; first trailer.
A new survival horror video game in the most classic sense of the term arrives with Tormented Souls, a new action adventure by Dual Effect together with Abstract Digital and the publisher PQube Limited that collects the witness of the Resident Evil, Alone in the Dark or Silent Hill from the 90s to offer a new third person nightmare with fixed camera shots and puzzles everywhere. It will arrive on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021, on a date yet to be specified; and to celebrate the announcement, its managers have shared a first trailer, as well as the first screenshots of the title.

As its creators point out, we are facing a reinterpretation of the classic survival horror genre that draws on the references of the 90s to offer its own vision of what a horror adventure would be today; so much so that it bets on sections of fixed planes, contextual puzzles of all kinds, monstrous creatures stalking us and claustrophobic environments to the limit.
The protagonist of this nightmare is called Caroline Walker, a young investigator who travels to the town of Winterlake to find out the truth after the disappearance of two twin sisters. Everything goes wrong when Caroline wakes up in a bathtub, naked and with a kind of conduit stuck through her mouth and connected to what looks like old medical equipment.
From here a real horror odyssey will begin through the most terrifying and dark rooms of an abandoned mansion, full of monstrous bloodthirsty beings; In addition, Tormented Souls will play with the mirrors of said mansion to alternate between one reality and another, in order to overcome shared challenges between both worlds.
