“Since Q3 yesterday until now, the execution was flawless,” Wolff said to Sky Sports F1. “He was quick, managed the tyres well, and didn’t overthink the strategy. A fast car needs a driver to keep the pressure on, which Russell did.”
He added that drivers should avoid over‑analysis: “If a racer thinks too much, the race is lost. We want the best race, which is the quickest. Tell them to push the front tires, not dwell on the gap behind.”
Antonelli’s Passion and Team Dynamics
Wolff praised Antonelli’s eagerness, noting the rookie’s early attempt to secure victory cost him slightly, but his attacking style was welcomed. “We want a driver who is full‑on the attack all the time, not one who waits for a lap.”
