SEGA and Two Point Studios will not be releasing the console version of 'Two Point Hospital' until next year, as announced today.
In a short statement, the developer writes:
"Our community has been asking about two-point hospital consoles for some time and we want to make sure we deliver a game that works best on all platforms," said Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios. "That means we'll need a little more time to optimize the game and ensure the best possible experience on all platforms."
In the atypical and captivating world of Two Point Hospital, players as hospital administrators have to deal with many tricky situations each day, face multiple challenges, and demonstrate the ability to build, heal, and improve in the most difficult and bizarre of circumstances. Running a hospital empire can be – often literally – a chaotic business. Players need to educate employees and use their far-reaching personality traits to keep the healthcare competition at Two Point County low. Two Point Hospital will be released in the first quarter of 2020.
Update: A new appointment has now been announced at the Microsoft Store that Two Point Hospital is due to be released on February 25, 2020. The date has yet to be confirmed.
