Ubisoft announces the remake of Trackmania Nations; will arrive in may

Ubisoft Nadeo details the main features of the Trackmania Nations remake. The saga will embrace the game service next May.

Trackmania is up to date again. Ubisoft announces the development of the Trackmania Nations remake, which will lead the brand to embrace the “service game”: selection of daily paths, seasonal campaign and new options of the circuit maker are some of the main novelties. It will be borne by Ubisoft Nadeo and has been presented as part of the finals played in Lyon, France.

"In Trackmania we will have daily and weekly drinks, official seasonal rankings and a‘ Grand League ’and‘ Open Grand League ’that will happen twice a year," says study chief Florent Castelnerac. The introduction of esports to the virtual world will be present with “events for the community and professional tournaments”.

The reasons for this renewal are born from the feedback they have been receiving all these years. As narrated in the official note, they noted that after launching a game, players "run through the campaign and stop playing." To encourage these to come back again and again, the game will raise a road map by seasons.

Trackmania Turbo Remake

Trackmania Nations Remake will arrive on PC on May 5, 14 years after the release of the original.

An endless brand

With more than a decade behind it, Trackmania has gone through a multitude of systems to embrace the current currents. The last great title (not counting Lagoon), Trackmania Turbo, debuted on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 22, 2016. Four years have had to go by to see Nadeo's next step.

For those less accustomed to the franchise, Trackmania puts us in the fastest competitions through circuits full of stunts. As the study says, that philosophy "easy to play, hard to master" has made a community of users that has remained faithful over the years. There are few driving arcades like him right now.
