Publisher Ubisoft has released its latest quarterly report, mentioning a new Far Cry game that will be released within the next year.
The announcement comes as a surprise, since one really wanted to move away from these quick releases. But now it is said that a total of five Triple-A games will be released in the course of the next financial year, which starts in April 2020.
These include Watch Dogs Legion, Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and the previously secret Assassin's Creed game. The fifth title is a new Far Cry game, but no details are currently available. Anyone who had previously hoped for a new Splinter Cell will continue to be disappointed.
Anyone holding out hope for Splinter Cell is, once again, going to be disappointed. Sorry! (It's’s AC and Far Cry.) Https://t.co/7hKDV3y5QS

Details about the new games, which will all appear for PS5 & Co., should follow later in the year.
