Fortnite’s newest Construction‑stage mission thrusts players onto the roof of a hidden aquarium, demanding they shatter the vault without stomping into falling glass.
During the current Chapter 7 Season 3 episode, Epic Games has released a fresh “Story” quest that contains a single, high‑stakes objective: breach the Aquarium Vault in the Quackaway landmark. The task sits at the southwestern edge of the season’s map, tucked within a cavern lined by massive statues of Fishstick and Wonkee.
Vault Placement
Players must land at Quackaway, then venture into the cave’s main hall to locate the vault perched on the roof. Unlike other Fortnite vaults, the aquarium is only accessible through a single glass panel. No alternate routes exist, and the glass frame remains the sole entry point.
How to Safely Shatter It
Once the vault is spotted, the next step is to remain a safe distance from its base before loading any weapon from the standard loot pool. Shooting the glass will drive shards downward; standing directly beneath means instant elimination. Position yourself outside the fall zone, deliver the hits, and collect the loot that spills from the broken vault.
Reward & Progression
Successfully breaking the Aquarium Vault grants 10,000 XP, accelerating the Runners Battle Pass and unlocking the “Collect Weapons outside of Named Locations” side quest. If the vault is destroyed while a player stands underneath, they are eliminated immediately, safeguarding the event’s challenge. After the vault is shattered, players can advance to the next Construction stage of the story quests and continue earning rewards.
