PlayStation just set the launch date for Until Dawn 2: the sequel to the hit horror title will go live on January 28, 2027.
Pre‑orders unlock on September 10, 2026, the week after the publisher’s September State of Play announcement.
The full reveal at June’s PS State of Play introduced the new Wendigo and the “Choices & Consequence” trailer, showcasing the creature in its final frame.
Edition Offerings and Digital Extras
Firesprite offers a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe unlocks the Y2K Neon Vibes Pack, dressing all eight Dead True members—including Owen, Mina, Nate, Reagan, Izzy, Luke, Josie, and Cameron—in bright neon costumes, plus the Diorama of Death, which recaps every fatal moment with collectible scenes.
Both editions include Dr. Hill‑themed pre‑order bonuses: the classic Until Dawn suit, an Akishima Island holiday outfit, and in‑game Dr. Hill collector bobbleheads.

Until Dawn 2 follows the Dead True crew on Akishima, a remote island they hope will be a viral sensation. Choices made by players still dictate the unsettling outcomes, reminiscent of the original title’s branching narrative.
Whether the game will see a physical PS5 release remains unknown, but the early 2027 launch suggests a likely physical version could appear before late 2028.
