Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive announce the immediate firing of two of development’s most important figures. Official statement.

Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive, developer and publisher of Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, have announced the immediate termination of their creative director and narrative designer. A brief statement published on the website dedicated to the video game confirms this information, where hardly any specific details transcend, but which also adds the profile of their respective relays.

“Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have important news to share today. We recently made it known that we have made some organizational changes for the Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 team; as promised, we will now give an update on what this means ”, they begin by saying.

And so it is, Brian Mitsoda, until now narrative designer, along with Ka’ai Cluney, already former creative director, immediately leave Hardsuit Labs based on a decision “made in conjunction with the management team” of both parties. Still, development continues and the development team doesn’t want to waste a minute. Alexandre Mandryka becomes the new creative consultant, although he will also act as creative director to help them “in the final stage of development”. This same month of August we have learned that the title is indefinitely delayed until sometime next year 2021 with the aim of reaching the quality standards intended from the beginning.

“Due to the quality standards and ambitions that we have set ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time. This means that our goal of launching the game in 2020 is no longer possible, ”they commented.
