The division in charge of video games such as Batman: Arkham Knight or Injustice 2 prepares news about their DC Comics sagas.
DC Comics fans are in luck, and not just because many of the projects Warner Bros has underway are going to be revealed. The company has organized a digital event known as DC FanDome. “Imagine that all the superheroes and supervillains you have always loved come together in one place to celebrate DC’s past, present and future,” they comment on the website. ” This global event, which will be accessible for 24 hours on the official website, will feature announcements of the different transmedia products. This includes, of course, Warner Bros Games. It will be held on August 22 from 19:00 (Spanish peninsular time).
For months, Warner Bros. Interactive Montreal, the studio run by Batman: Arkham Origins, has made no secret that it is working on new projects based on DC Comics licenses. By the comments of different developers and the tracks they have been leaving, it is assumed that it will be a new video game starring Batman. However, at the moment it is not certain if it will be a new installment of the Arkham saga or some kind of restart, since nothing has been officially commented.

Harry Potter RPG will have to wait
Other leaked video games will have no space in this event for obvious reasons. We are talking about the well-known Harry Potter RPG project, whose footage was released in 2018 and has not been heard since. Being a video game based on a non-DC Comics saga, an announcement in that scenario would not make much sense.
The DC FanDome is the place to listen to the most anticipated announcements and the latest news, watch exclusive footage, and venture into themed worlds meant to entertain everyone from movie and TV fans to gamers, readers, family members. and kids”. They promise special performances regardless of where you live. “It doesn’t matter where you are from, your age or your level of fandom. There is something for you. “
