InXile Entertainment will only release their tactical RPG ‘Wasteland 3’ in August, as the developer announced.
The reason for the shift is the recent challenges with the corona pandemic, as Studio Head Brian Fargo comments:
“As with most companies, we moved to a work-from-home environment a few weeks ago. Of course, this has brought with it new challenges that many of us around the world have learned to manage. We were thrilled that the Wasteland 3 Beta was received so well, but the reality is that our release would impact these new logistical challenges. ”
“We are in an excellent position as both Microsoft and Deep Silver support our desire to ensure the launch of the game in the best possible circumstances, and a few additional months will help Wasteland be an outstanding product on day one.”
Wasteland 3 will now be released on August 28, 2020.
