Wasteland Remastered will arrive in Spanish; first details and new trailer

InXile Entertainment confirms the main features of the remastering of Wasteland, the origin of the franchise. It will arrive on February 25.

We have known through the official website of Wasteland Remastered on Steam which are the main novelties that it will bring. InXile Entertainment confirms, in this way, what we can expect from remastering.

As the publication says, the title “retains the spirit of the original” while updating the graphic and audio aspect. That story book that included the physical copy will be available within the interface, "illustrated and with dubbing." Having these stories makes the experience much richer. As far as music is concerned, the original material is expanded with unpublished themes.

As expected, all bugs found in 1988 have been solved. Numerous improvements in “quality of life” have also been included that make the experience a little more accessible than in the past. As I pointed out to know its launch on Xbox One, it will have full support for traditional control. And yes, it will be translated into Spanish, as indicated by its page on the official Microsoft website.

Wasteland Remastered first details

Its launch is scheduled for next February 25 on PC through Steam, GoG and Microsoft Store. The console version will arrive at the same time. Its price will be 14.99 euros and it will have all the advantages of the Xbox umbrella, such as its participation in Xbox Game Pass from day one, being compatible with Xbox Play Anywhere (with a single purchase you can enjoy it in any version), saved in the cloud, achievements and clubs.

Along with the information, the studio has revealed its launch trailer, in which we can see a short footage of how it looks in motion. You can check it below:

2020 is a crucial year for franchise interests. Wasteland 3 is scheduled to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 19. In FreeGameTips we could have first-hand impressions during the X019, which we qualify as the "best role" return. You can read it here.
