On Xbox Series X you can achieve 4K resolution at 30 FPS in its optimized version with ray tracing included. New technical details in Xbox Series S.

Ubisoft confirmed only a few days ago the improvements of its next releases on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, but in very few clarified the performance of its works on Xbox Series S. After knowing that Watch Dogs Legion will move to 4K / 30 FPS resolution, the French company has now clarified that on Xbox Series S the game will work at dynamic 1080p resolution.

The information comes from WCCFTech, who after speaking with Galvin Whitlock, Principal Programmer at Ubisoft, makes it clear that “the highest resolution on Xbox Series S for Watch Dogs Legion will be 1080p dynamic”, that is, that Full HD may present oscillations depending on the demand of the situation. Whitlock adds that ray tracing will be better on PC than on PS5 and Xbox Series S.

The Xbox Series X version is the most benefited of all on console. While it doesn’t hit 60 FPS on any next-gen console or PC, Microsoft’s new high-end home solution will have 4K ray tracing. Watch Dogs Legion is out now; improved on Xbox Series and PS5

Watch Dogs Legion is available on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. Starting next week it will also be on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5. All who buy the game on the current generation of consoles will be able to download it for free on the new machines from Sony and Microsoft.
