Xbox 20/20: Microsoft will offer Xbox Series X news every month

The North American company remains convinced that the console will see the light on schedule, that is, at the end of this year.

The new generation of consoles continues as planned. Microsoft will begin showing Xbox Series X video games on May 7. Among the products it will present will be Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a title already announced but that has not yet shown gameplay sequences, something that will change with the issuance of Inside Xbox. Through a statement, the Redmond have also announced Xbox 20/20, a series of monthly episodes in which they will reveal new details about their next-generation console.

“Beginning with the May 7 episode of Inside Xbox, we will stream the new from the Xbox world every month; that's why we call it Xbox 20/20 ”, they comment in the statement. "These monthly programs will take place throughout the rest of the year." According to Microsoft, this will allow them to stay connected with gamers and celebrate "the next generation" with them, including what's new from Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Studios, Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud. "Every month we will offer something different."

The plan for May and June

At the May event, they will focus on showcasing next-gen title gameplay trailers and some sneak peeks from "a wide variety" of products from independent industry partners and developers. In addition, they will focus their attention on Smart Delivery, the feature that "ensures that you always play the best version of the video games you have on your consoles", of all generations. The optimization of these games on Xbox Series X has been carried out with the Aim for them to take advantage of the console hardware, so there will be products that reach 4K resolution and 120 fps, raytracing, etc.

For the month of July, the company plans to focus its attention on the video games that Xbox Game Studios are preparing. Xbox Series X, meanwhile, remains planned for the end of 2020, although a more specific date has not been announced.
