The legendary composer of Streets of Rage, who is also part of the soundtrack for the fourth installment, has confirmed the collaboration.
Lords of Exile, the Spanish game developed by Cordovan Carlos Azuaga, has been funded on Kickstarter in just 48 hours. At the time of writing this news, the project has exceeded 14,000 euros (its goal was 12,000 euros), but the surprises have not ended. The Spanish developer has announced that Yuzo Koshiro, legendary composer of the Streets of Rage saga, will contribute his bit if the goal of 30,000 euros is reached. In addition, they intend to incorporate Pentadrangle and Dominic Ninmark as collaborators.
The new goals are as follows: if the project reaches 20,000 euros, it will be invested in two renowned artists. On the one hand, Pentadrangle (Enrique Martín), who has composed the soundtracks for Cyber Shadow (Mechanical Head Studios and Yacht Club Games, TBA), Roof Rage (Early Melon), Spicy Piggy (Nitrome). On the other hand, Dominic Ninmark, who stands out for works such as Blazing Chrome, Rival Megagun, Bot Vice, Viviette.
- Kickstarter campaign
I want to introduce you to this Kickstarter project, the Lords of Exile. If this would achieve the € 30,000 stretch goal, I would join in this project as a guest composer. If it would happen, I'd make retro-style music. Thanks, @CZAzuaga https://t.co/oEnnGq1H5c

The collaboration of Yuzo Koshiro
The press release confirms a "special collaboration" by Yuzo Koshiro in case the players contribute a total of 30,000 euros. This has been confirmed by the composer himself on his official Twitter account. Koshiro has not only worked on the MegaDrive classics, but has also been present in the resurgence of the saga at the hands of DotEmu. In his career, he also highlights his work as a musician in Revenge of Shinobi.
Lords of Exile is a retro-style video game designed by Carlos Azuaga himself. It is an 8 bit platforms in lateral scroll, which transports us to the distant lands of Exilia, where a cursed knight must fight his way through a tangle of enemies and challenges. Galagar and his hordes of enemies will wreak havoc, but they will meet the edge of this mighty warrior. The Kickstarter campaign will conclude on June 18, so there is still time to help all the goals materialize on PC and Nintendo Switch.
