Dean Harrison has been officially named winner of the 2026 Isle of Man Senior TT after the race was stopped on Lap 2 and the results were taken from the end of the first completed lap.
Podium finishers confirmed
The red‑flagged event saw Harrison, who last claimed Senior TT glory in 2019, promoted to first place, giving him his seventh career Isle of Man TT win. Peter Hickman was recorded in second position, while Joshua Brookes rounded out the top three.
Weather halts further competition
Only four races reached a finish this week as persistent adverse conditions forced the cancellation of both the opening Superstock TT and the second Sportbike TT, neither of which saw a single start. The Senior TT itself, originally scheduled for six laps, had already been reduced to four before the weather forced an early termination after just one official circuit.
Organisers issue final statement
The Isle of Man TT Race Committee announced that, following consultations with the Clerk of the Course and the local Met Office, the forecast offered no viable window for safe continuation. Consequently, the Milwaukee Senior TT result was locked in based on the standings at the close of Lap 1, and the Carole Nash Sportbike TT Race 2 was withdrawn from the programme.
Michael Dunlop was the only other rider to secure a podium finish during the disrupted weekend, adding three more victories to his record and extending his all‑time Isle of Man win tally to 36.
With the remaining races scrapped, the 2026 TT calendar closes on a note of unfinished business, leaving teams to regroup for next year’s challenges.
