These were the 10 best-selling video games in Spain in January 2020

AEVI reveals the most successful titles in physical format in our country during the first month of the year. FIFA 20 dominates and regains the lead.

The Spanish Association of Video Games (AEVI) has published the complete list of the best-selling video games in Spain during the month of January 2020. The report, which takes data collected by Games Sales Data (GSD) of video games in physical format, reflects the return to the leadership of FIFA 20, the best-selling title in Spain of 2019.

FIFA 20, GTA 5 and Call of Duty: no surprises

Another fireproof is Grand Theft Auto V, a title that has already sold more than one million units in Spain alone in its PlayStation version. This time he keeps the silver medal and confirms his good commercial performance now that he finds the lowest PVP to date, less than 19.99 euros. It is also for PlayStation 4 the third place in the ranking with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which improves the results of the titles of previous years on those same dates and also makes clear the good state of health of the IP of Activision.

We arrived in Nintendo territory with three titles for Nintendo Switch: Pokémon Sword (favorite option one more month, above the Shield edition), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and FIFA 20. The driving title, which adds more than 22 million units in Everyone is consolidated as one of the options preferred by the Spanish user in the month after Christmas, where he was also among the highest positions.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot keeps the seventh position of the Top-10 best-selling video games in Spain during January. The game has already dispatched more than 1.5 million copies worldwide, a success for Bandai Namco who, according to sources consulted by this media, has had supply problems in Spain during its first fourteen days as there was a demand above the offer.

We finish with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the same for Electronic Arts; and we arrived at Ubisoft with Just Dance 2020, which refuses to leave the Top-10 and does it above Super Mario Party, another veteran of the list, the best selling of the saga.
