The world of Hogwarts comes fully to the Mojang video game with an adventure of its own in true RPG style. The community surprises us again.

The community of Minecraft players has once again demonstrated that the Mojang video game has no limits. Witchcraft and Wizardry is the name of the mod that is now the protagonist, an adventure with touches RPG in which the Harry Potter universe of J.K. Rowling, a nod to the fans with a work of several years behind.

Because apart from being able to feel in the environment like that of novels and their translation to movies and their surroundings, we put ourselves in the shoes of a student at the Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry. From Floo Network they have published a trailer where they present some of the multiple recreated scenarios: London with Big Ben, Diagon Alley, school interiors … even learning tracks to fly broom and practice Quidditch. Witchcraft and Wizardry pretends to be that JRPG that has never existed – for now – in the Harry Potter universe in video games, a friendly mod that can be enjoyed already in the Java version of the game (v 1.13.2), only in this one; reason why it is not possible to play it neither in console nor in mobile devices, only computer.

Downloading the mod is completely free and legal, as it does not violate any Mojang intellectual property rights. Its creators, satisfied with the work done, do not contemplate for the moment the localization of all the text in other languages, so except for surprise it will only be able to play in English. Other aspects answered is that it can be played in multiplayer mode with up to four people.

Last January, from FreeGameTips we showed you the first advances of this group of modders with Minecraft and Harry Potter, the result of which was close to what it is now. In total, seven years of work with a great documentation work behind, which involved an initial visit to various British facilities; from the Bodleian Library of the University of Oxford, specifically the Duke Humpfrey Library, passing through other places in Great Britain.
