Thus, those responsible for the Star Wars Celebration have explained that due to the current global pandemic situation and given the circumstances in which each new edition of the event takes place with a large audience from all over the world, it will not be possible to hold an edition that was scheduled for this coming August. In addition to various logistics issues or ticket return methods, they have announced the dates the event will take place in two years: August 18-21, 2022.
“At Star Wars Celebration, the number one priority is the safety and health of our fans, exhibitors, guests, and staff. Due to the global impact of Covid-19 and after consulting with local and state authorities regarding the latest sanitary measures related to closed events, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Star Wars Celebration. While this news is disappointing We are pleased to announce that the Star Wars Celebration will return to the Anaheim Convention Center from August 18 to 21, 2022, ”they said through an official statement.
