Top 10 Marvel (UCM) Movies To Date [2020]

We review the films with the highest marks in Metacritic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; from Iron Man to Captain America and Black Panther.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most lucrative in the history of audiovisual entertainment. With a Phase 3 already completed and a Phase 4 that already has a total of seven films with a date, it is time to pause and assess what have been the 10 best productions of the UCM so far in these twelve years. A total of 23 premieres where not all have had an equally large reception.

Although the severity of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused Marvel Studios to make the decision to restructure its schedule for Phase 4; including the Black Widow, originally planned for May, there is less and less left so that we can attend the next releases of the company.

To date, according to the aggregator portal Metacritic, Black Panther is the best at the UCM so far with an 88 out of 100. The winner of several Oscar awards is also in first place in this ranking based on specialized world criticism; right in front of Iron-Man, the original, and Avengers: Endgame.

    The Marvel universe has an interesting number of releases in the coming months, starting with Marvel’s Iron-Man VR for PS VR, the virtual reality peripheral for PlayStation 4. The work of the Camouflag studio has already completed its development and will be released exclusively for the desktop of Sony this July 3.

    A little later, before the end of the summer, on September 4 Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics will launch on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia Marvel’s Avengers, a clear commitment to the third-person action adventure where characters like Iron- Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, and Ms. Marvel will meet in AAA production expertise. It will also have a deep multiplayer mode.

    Finally, at the end of the year, thanks to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a new independent game based on Marvel’s Spider-Man (similar to what The Lost Legacy was in Uncharted 4) and exclusive this time for PS5 at its launch. A bridge title between the first episode and an eventual Spider-Man 2 where we will live the first experiences of Miles turned into spider man.
