ID @ Xbox: These are the indie games coming soon to Xbox One and Xbox Series X

Microsoft designed a system to facilitate the development of video games to independent studios on their consoles; now extends to Xbox Series X.

The ID @ Xbox Program is intended to support indie developers who publish their video games on Microsoft platforms. “Independent game developers have revolutionized this generation of video games, with teams from more than 50 countries around the world offering more than 1,600 games so far through the ID @ Xbox program.” According to those of Redmond, there are thousands more in development, but the company has just announced more than thirty titles that will be marketed on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X, its new generation console.

“We are excited to ensure that this support continues into the next generation, with backward compatibility, which means that all the games you’ve invested in on Xbox One will evolve with you on Xbox Series X,” the company explains in a post on Xbox Wire. “Independent developers are working hard on Xbox Series X games,” so they are “excited” to extend the support they provide “to continue creating next-generation games.”

From the technology giant they regret that they have to present in those circumstances. “Unfortunately, the times we are living in are not ideal for events like E3, Gamescom and PAX.” Below, you can find out which titles are coming, with their respective videos.
