Halo: The Master Chief Collection will arrive on PC “when ready”

343 Industries expects Halo: Reach to be marketed this year, although they still cannot confirm it for sure.

The Master Chief calmly takes his return to the PC. Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the pack with all the main games in the saga, is taking longer than the compatible account. Its developer, 343 Industries, wants the games to go on sale in the best possible conditions. Therefore, they are taking the development very calmly. An impatient user has accused the study of not launching the title later this year, something that, according to 343 Industries, they never promised.

"I can't believe you said all the games would come to PC before the end of the year," says the user on Twitter. "It's already November and none of them have been on PC, and it doesn't seem like Reach is going to do it soon." The message was addressed to Brian Jarrard, community director of the developer, who has not hesitated to answer: “Hi Josh. We never said anything that the games would come out on PC this year. We have constantly said that they will be ready when they are ready. ”

They expect Halo: Reach to launch this year

According to the company, they expect Reach to go on sale "at the end of the year", but there is no sure guarantee that this will finally be the case. Microsoft's plan is to market the titles in a phased manner, rather than with the full pack, as happened with the Xbox One version (which, incidentally, suffered many problems in its first months in the market).

Halo: Reach will incorporate cross play, but not between all platforms. What has been communicated at the moment is that both Windows 10 and Steam players can do so. What is confirmed is cross-saving, which will work on all platforms, as we publish on FreeGameTips.
