The Sony Bend Studio would apparently like to return to 'Days Gone' and develop a successor, as can be seen from current statements.
For example, Studio Director Chris Reese once commented on the Golden Joystick Awards for which Days Gone was a real passion and something you always wanted to do. In addition, there are many things that you want to explore it.
"Oh yes, it's certainly a passion of ours, and we've always wanted to do that," says Reese. "This is a world we want to breathe life into and explore many, many different ways. So who knows, we'll see! "
Whether it will actually come to a sequel or not is ultimately in the hands of Sony. For the critics, the survival adventure was initially rather modest due to the initial bugs, while the players themselves celebrated it. That would spur you on Sony Bend to keep going.
"Seeing how the players actually engage with the game and enjoy the passion we put in there is really impressive."
If it should come to its continuation of Days Gone, should be expected at the earliest on the PS5 so.
