Destiny 2: The Collection will be available only on Google Stadia “for now”

Despite having appeared in a PEGI registry, the developer confirms that there are no plans to launch this pack on consoles and PCs.

A record of the PEGI, the organization that qualifies videogames by age in Europe, had blown up the rumors. As they pointed out, Destiny 2: The Collection was underway for PS4, Xbox One and PC. However, it will not be so finally. At least that's what Bungie has confirmed to GamesRadar +. Through an email, the creators of Halo have denied that the final Destiny 2 package will be available on these platforms. It will remain, therefore, as an exclusivity of Google Stadia.

It is not clear if in the future they will choose or not to market the product, but as of today, Bungie points out, there is no intention of doing so. According to the study, "there are no plans at this time to launch Destiny 2: The Collection beyond Stadia." They add that it is "easy enough to find ways to get the full content" without the need to buy a collection.

The free-to-play version, Destiny 2: New Light, incorporates all of Year 1's content, while Forsaken covers the entire Year 2. Finally, Shadow Bastion, the most recent expansion, covers Year 3, although depending from the edition you can access more or less content. The edition available in Stadia Pro (monthly subscription of 9.99 euros), collects all published content.

Final Fantasy XV, with unpublished content on Stadia

Google's new platform, Stadia, has been marketed with 22 launch games. Although Destiny 2 does not have any exclusive content, Final Fantasy XV has reached the streaming video game system of the technology giant with a series of new mini-games. It is not clear that it is an exclusive, but at the moment Square Enix has not made any announcement with respect to the other versions.

Google Stadia is available in Spain, although it still does not incorporate all the promised features.
