Dragon Ball Legends 2.0 is official: it will have cooperative mode

The Bandai Namco game will be updated in the coming weeks to add a new feature, the possibility of playing with others in cooperative.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Legends will receive cooperative multiplayer mode. The free to play action title for iOS and Android based on the license of Akira Toriyama will have the option of playing with other users from this month of December in a way yet to be determined.

Cooperative PvE: join forces to kill the CPU

At the moment the information is scarce, beyond what is officially shown by the editor in a short video. The methodology will be, at least, with two players at the same time, but against the CPU. We do not know, however, if there will be cooperative PvP or if it will remain in principle in cooperative PvE mode, as in Pokémon Masters.

In this case, in Dragon Ball Legends there may be two units on the screen at the same time, each one managed by a player on his mobile device, with individual attacks and possible synergies. Beyond the cooperative fights, the update will be large-scale, version 2.0, so it is expected that more news will arrive that will further expand the playable experience. On the other hand, the game now has several events active with rewards just for logging in daily; The Top-20 of the most powerful characters of the title in the competitive scene has also been updated.

Dragon Ball has good health on mobile: Dokkan Battle breaks records

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle has made headlines this week for having overcome the barrier of 2 billion dollars billed since its launch more than four years ago. The game, a gacha with a multitude of playable options, has managed to reinvent itself with the passage of time and has lived in 2019 its two best historical months thanks to premieres such as Dragon Ball Super: Broly and the event of celebrating its four years active.

Beyond mobiles, the Dragon Ball news leaves Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot as the main protagonist in the videogame sector, a launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC where from next January we can relive the full DBZ story in an action-based gameplay and role in the hands of CyberConnect2.
