Although the new experiences have no date, Infinity Ward has announced that they will be implemented at some point.

Infinity Ward continues to machine the future of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with the intention of expanding gaming experiences with new content. Part of that future was already revealed with the announcement of Season 1 of the battle pass, but there are other features and game modes that are yet to come. Joe Cecot, one of the people in charge of the multiplayer, has revealed that the study prepares the introduction of 3v3 and 1v1 in the Game of Arms mode.

When? Some will ask. The answer is undefined, as it will occur at "sometime" in the future. Meanwhile, Weapons Game encourages us to get and seize all weapons, which are strengthened or weakened depending on the rivals we kill. In the end, the one who manages to go through the entire carousel of arms wins. Get all, kill everyone, there can only be one left.

No season passes: free content

Activision has modified its strategy with respect to other products in the series. Instead of betting on a model with loot boxes and season passes, the American company has decided to opt for a business route that is distilled a lot today: that of battle passes. This means that players will receive new content in the form of new maps, game modes, weapons, etc., all for free.

The agreement between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Activision has also adapted to this new commercial vision. In this way, all free content is added on all platforms at the same time. Except for Survival Special Operations mode, which is exclusive for a year on the Sony platform, the rest is planned on all systems.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can now be purchased on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Its launch took place last October, and since then, the title has been updated with improvements and changes in the balance.
