The multiplayer mode director says he has received private messages that wish “a horrible death” to his children.
He is not the first nor will he be the last developer to receive death threats. In fact, it is something that is repeated systematically every so often. Now it's the turn of Joe Cecot, one of the top managers of the multiplayer Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As he has reported, he has received threats through his private messages.
The developer of Infinity Ward has revealed it in one of the threads of the Modern Warfare forum in Reddit, where he has claimed to have received messages in which they wished their children would die "horribly." Cecot has not entered to publish the explicit content, but it has recognized that in view of these acts of verbal violence, less and less goes through the thread of the forum.
"It can be hard," begins in his message. “I prefer less private messages about my children dying horribly. I am spending less time here. Thanks for the thanks, we are still working very hard. ” Just in the last hours, Cecot himself has revealed on Twitter that the study plans to add 1v1 and 3v3 modalities to the Shooting Mode.
A very lively content
Season 1 of the battle pass is about to be released. It will be on December 3 when a whole series of free content begins to arrive, including several of the classic Call of Duty 4 maps. In addition, new game modes, weapons and a whole series of novelties are planned. Infinity Ward works, at the same time, in polishing the gaming experience.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available from October on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The title does not have a season pass model, since they have decided that players have access to much of the content without paying extra money, so that a possible division of the community is settled.
