The chain of stores offered this model of the console for 99 euros instead of the usual 219 euros. The reaction of the public was immediate.
Microsoft has sold more than 8,000 units of the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition model during Black Friday in Spain only in the Media Markt chain of stores. As the portal itself shows on the product page, this version without a disk reader of the console – which is accompanied by Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and extras for Fortnite – has been one of the campaign's most aggressive offers as it passed from 219 euros to 99 euros.
From the official Microsoft portal the discount left the console at 129 euros; same amount as in other large areas such as GAME, El Corte Inglés or FNAC. However, both the aforementioned store and Worten, which also distributes in Spain, reduced the price even more. In the case of the latter, sales figures have not transcended, but in Media Markt, where the response of the Spanish market has been total.

Xbox One data in Spain, in context
However, is it a lot or a little? More than 8,000 units sold in just one week is a very positive fact for the American company in our country, given the figures that have been reported weekly and annually.
To put the information in context we have to resort to the annual and weekly sales data of Xbox One in the Spanish territory during the last times. As the Vandal media includes, until the end of 2018, more than 400,000 units of the console had been sold, adding all its models and editions; of which 73,000 were in 2018 and 72,000 in 2017, in the absence of knowing how many will have been sold in this calendar.
This same source anticipates that, in recent weeks, Xbox One has been reporting sales of about 330 or 350 units per week. The increase is, therefore, exponential after the offer applied on Black Friday. Remember that it is only for that model and only in a chain of stores, so the total number of units sold during Black Friday will be much higher.
In the absence of knowing if Microsoft Spain issues a statement with the rest of sales of its other models, such as Xbox One S (with disk reader) and Xbox One X, the only portable solution has become one of the user's favorite options of Spanish videogames in the Christmas pre-campaign.
