The iconic action and science fiction film of the 90s returns in 2020 as a real-time strategy video game.
After more than two decades since its premiere in theaters, the iconic action and science fiction movie Starship Troopers returns to the news of the video game industry with Starship Troopers: Terran Command, a new real-time strategy title with tower defense dyes by The Aristocrats and Slitherine Games for PC. This has been announced by those responsible through a first trailer, confirming that its premiere is scheduled for next year 2020, with a definitive date yet to be specified.
Humans against alien bugs
Following the premise of the original work (based in turn on the homonymous novel by Robert A. Heinlein), we will have to lead squads of intergalactic human soldiers in authentic mass battles against authentic hordes of bugs, dangerous monsters of other worlds thirsty for human blood.
Among the main attractions of this new adaptation of the mythical Paul Verhoeven film is the fidelity with which many aspects of the film have been taken to the game, from dialogues recognizable by fans to the appearance of soldiers and bugs, passing through the ships, the weapons or the scenarios themselves.
According to its creators, the campaign will generate missions dynamically according to our own decisions, making each game different from the previous one and adapting its development to our actions in front of the suffered human army.
