Among Us now equips a sole crewmate with a single decision that can determine the fate of every player in the lobby.
Judge’s New Authority
The Judge receives the Overrule ability, which, activated by completing a configurable number of tasks, lets the player eject any crewmate by clicking the blue gavel icon regardless of other votes. If the chosen target is not the imposter, the Judge instantly faces elimination.
On any meeting, only one Judge may act; the first to press the gavel stakes the advantage, while any second Judge’s power is temporarily refunded for the next session. The Overrule can be used only once per game, reinforcing the weight of the decision.
Gameplay Adjustments and New Content
The update introduces Match Info, giving instant visibility of player roles, settings, and current match status. Additionally, the Detective’s Interrogate feature now suffers a cooldown after Emergency Meetings, tightening its tactical use.
Beyond the crewmate cooldown, Innersloth has launched a standalone Among Us title and announced a ten‑episode animated TV series that expands the franchise’s universe.
