Apex Legends is gearing up for a Cyberpunk‑themed event that will drop new skins, a Skippy Mythic Alternator, and changes to the E‑District map.
Collaboration In Motion
Respawn Entertainment and Studio Trigger hinted at the crossover by publishing split images of Cyberpunk Edgerunners characters David and Lucy atop the moon. Apex Legends posted David with the caption “Some views are worth sharing,” while the Cyberpunk account shared Lucy, captioned “Some legends are worth sharing.” The two images form a single scene that merges the worlds of both titles.
The news builds upon the recent joint release with Wuthering Waves and the likelihood that the collaboration will target Apex’s battle‑royale audience ahead of Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ season two launch.
What Players Will Get
Leaked details outline a collection event featuring Cyberpunk‑inspired legendary skins and cosmetics. In addition, an updated E‑District map will incorporate stylistic elements from the anime setting. While rumors of playable Lucy or David exist, no confirmation has come from Respawn, and the collaboration historically remains conservative.
Community Reactions
Fans are left to decide whether they prefer fresh character options or solely aesthetic upgrades. The partnership highlights the compatibility between Apex Legends’ roster design and Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ characters.
Both studios are on a timetable that aligns with the forthcoming season two announcements, suggesting a coordinated marketing effort aimed at maximizing cross‑title engagement.
