Embark Studios suspends Arc Raiders Expeditions until early 2027
Embark Studios has halted all Arc Raiders Expeditions until early 2027, a decision announced after players highlighted cramped departure windows and an unsatisfying reward system.
Why the pause?
The fifth Expedition concludes with a promise of system improvements that will deliver deeper loot tiers, smoother start‑up timing and a more welcoming experience for newcomers.
Buffs, rewards and future plans
Any continuous buffs earned in past Expeditions will carry through the break, safeguarding current progress. Players who finish every Expedition before the pause will acquire the Evolved Zenith outfit, and the trial phase will end on 8 October, following the season’s termination on 22 September.
Those in the middle of a Caravan will receive equal‑valued Ermal Vouchers, redeemable for Ermal offers, ARC Parts, trade items, and coins.
More details about the overhaul are scheduled for next month, and the team recommends undertaking departures promptly to maintain momentum.
