The creators of Divinity: Original Sin2 have detailed the first features of early access. Speaking to PC Gamer, Swen Vincke, founder and creative director of Baldur's Gate 3, has said that if Divinity: Original Sin 2 had not come out early, "it would not have been so good." According to the developer, they wanted to give the new game a similar treatment. This will allow them to gather information about what works and what does not work, to file rough edges and improve the product for the final launch and beyond.
Baldur's Gate 3 tells a new story within the universe of the Forgotten Realms. The first two games of the saga, developed by BioWare, concluded the main story of the protagonist in the final expansion, Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. All of them were reissued by Beamdog on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. As for the new video game, it is announced for PC and Google Stadia.
