Call of Duty: Modern Warfare corrects flickering in PC video scenes

The compatible version of the work of Infinity Ward dragged this problem since its launch, something that does not affect that of consoles.

When a month has not yet elapsed since the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward, the studio responsible for delivery this year, is working on solving some of the problems production is still experiencing. Although the week was prolific in terms of patches, the PC version had a problem that had not yet been fixed: flickering during cinematic scenes. However, the company has announced that the new update fixes it.

The error appeared in all the scenes of the campaign, something that also produced sound problems, since it was heard out of sync. The patch also fixes another of the failures that compatible players have often encountered, the Dev Error 6178.

Two returning game modes

The video game went on sale with two game modes that disappeared overnight. Both Tests and Realistic Mode were eliminated by Activision without prior notice. However, the company announced that with the most recent update, those two modalities would return. While the realistic option offers players an experience closer to reality (head shots cause instant death), Testing requires tickets to access. They are achieved by leveling up and give us the chance to experience time trials.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Although Activision and Sony maintain their collaboration agreement, all post-launch content comes out at the same time on all platforms. At the moment, the only truly exclusive is the Survival Ops mode, which will be released on the rest of the devices in about a year.
