Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is updated with changes in weapons, maps and more

The patch introduces another series of adjustments and changes, such as a new balance of the 725 shotgun, already modified in the previous update.

A little less than a month since its launch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare continues to polish impurities at a stroke. The 1.07 update was published only a few days ago, but Infinity Ward has considered it appropriate to hang the 1.08, which tries to fix several of the problems that still drag the title. The Piccadilly map has been adjusted, so the flags change location in multiplayer modes.

Other additional improvements

The patch, available first on PlayStation 4 (due to the agreement between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Activision), has a weight of 3.4 GB. As usual, they promise an improvement in performance on all platforms, which improves overall stability and prevents crashes.

As for weapons, the 725 shotgun, too powerful in previous builds, no longer causes so much damage. This was one of the balance adjustments that had been made in patch 1.07. Other weapons that undergo changes are the M4, which reduces its damage when shot in the head, as well as the FAL, whose recoil has been reduced. Also the EB-14 modifies some of its patterns.

Activision also reports the correction of a bug when using the riot shield that prevented damage from explosions during certain common situations. It also fixes the error that caused this same shield to be positioned on the sword of the players when using Stim.

Other problems such as the sound of the steps or certain errors of the challenges have been touched to try to avoid greater evils. The DEV ERROR 5476 message should no longer appear after installing 1.08.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. AEVI (Spanish Association of Video Games) has revealed video game sales in Spain for the month of October 2019. Activision's work is behind FIFA 20, right in the second position.
