Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare, with double experience during the weekend

The second season of the Infinity Ward game will end shortly, but not before giving the chance to improve stats.

In times of coronavirus (COVID-19), staying home is not an option, it is an obligation. In this situation, it is better to find good entertainment. And since not going outside, things are going, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone offer a double experience weekend, not for the coronavirus in particular, although it is a good excuse to continue playing. The titles developed by Infinity Ward, about to end its second season, will open the doors to the X2 in progression, weapons and battle pass.

Activision has reported that the event will begin on April 3 at 7:00 p.m. It will last until April 6 at the same time. Meanwhile, the North American company prepares to launch its new season, which will begin on April 7. Unlike other installments, Infinity Ward shelved season passes in favor of this new business model, which is close to that of free-to-play titles like Fornite or Apex Legends. The leaks, as usual, have revealed the existence of new versions of the maps, as well as unpublished operators.

Modern Warfare 2 returns

The remastered version of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign is a reality. The PEGI, the body that classifies video games by age, revealed it by mistake, although it was subsequently deleted. Months later, his Korean namesake did the same. After dataminers detected images in one of the patches, PlayStation Store Germany leaked the existence of this project, which can already be enjoyed in that country, although it has not been officially announced. It is a game that went on sale 11 years ago on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. This new version only includes the campaign.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is a reimagining of the classic, a title that uses the same theme but changes everything else. Warzone, meanwhile, is a battle royale mode that has been distributed independently.
