Under the leadership of Team Principal Christopher Deely, Car Blanche will target the GTD Pro championship from the opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, following a mid‑2026 expansion that split time between GTD and GTD Pro to gain experience.
Early Class‑Crossover Success
In its two first GTD starts, the squad earned back‑to‑back podiums at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and Road America, with Hasse Clot paired with Marius Fossard and Trenton Estep. Re‑entry into GTD Pro occurred at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, where Hasse Clot joined Scott Andrews before a fourth‑place finish at VIRginia International Raceway with Sorensen.
Driver Unity and Experience
“A fast car is a nice car, and we still have scored two podiums on Car Blanche’s debut,” Hasse Clot said ahead of the Battle on the Bricks. “If we’d have been on the back of the grid, nobody would have noticed Car Blanche. But the fact we’ve been competitive has made it stand out as well.”
Deely noted that the team aims for “the strongest effort possible” in GTD Pro, aligning with Hasse Clot’s long‑term goal of moving to the top GT category as soon as logistical conditions allow. Sorensen, a winner of both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans while also driving Aston Martin’s Valkyrie GTP, has known Hasse Clot for nearly a decade, creating a cohesive partnership.
