World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will receive new content with the arrival of Chains of Domination, patch 9.1 of the legendary Blizzard mmorpg.
World of Warcraft Shadowlands will shortly receive new content in its 9.1 update patch. The BlizzCon 2021 event, which this time has been developed entirely through the internet, has given more details about what awaits all of us who continue to travel through the Shadowlands.
Attention: the following video contains some important spoils of what will happen in the next Shadowlands patch. If you want to avoid as much as possible the course that the story will take from it, do not watch the video.
Chains of Domination, as the next update is called, will bring Blizzard’s legendary mmorpg content to bore in both missions and challenges for groups of players. And of course, companion pets and a multitude of mounts. This is the content update 9.1.
Chains of Domination
Whoever warns is not a traitor, so if you don’t want to know anything about the plot that accompanies the Chains of Domination patch, better skip the next paragraph as it contains spoils that could ruin your gaming experience when you enter the new update. And no wonder, the story arc takes a frantic turn to the story of Shadowlands.
Sylvanas, associated with the Jailer, has a new target: Anduin. As we can see in the presentation video for Chains of Domination, the Golden Haired King becomes the new Lich King and unleashes chaos in Bastion, eliminating the Archon Regent Kyrestia with one stroke. With this, the Jailer secures one of the four mysterious keys of which nothing is known. Or maybe it’s five?
This is how patch 9.1 will begin, with the union of the four curiae for what happened and the renewed forces of all the allies after the fall of Sire Denathrius. Now, everyone will enter a new area of the Maw called Korthia where new daily missions, bosses and activities will be available to all players. There, in addition, we will learn more about “The First” as well as get new rewards and mounts. As a bonus, the ability to move through the Maw with any of our mounts is unlocked.
Two new dungeons arrive alongside Chains of Domination; Tazavesh, the Veiled Market and Tabernacle of Domination. The first is a mega dungeon of mythical difficulty – for the moment, as they have stated – composed of 8 bosses located in the Speculators’ bazaar and that as a reward will grant a multitude of weapons, pets and a mount. Tabernacle of Domination will be the new raid dungeon with ten new bosses to beat in its four difficulties in which we will see bosses like Kel’Thuzad or Sylvanas, the Banshee Queen.
Torghast doesn’t seem to be getting much news. In the panel dedicated to World of Warcraft it has only been said that it will receive new areas, powers and enemies, but it does not seem that the mechanics that dominate this tower of random characteristics will change.
The curiae will not only have an important role in patch 9.1, but in addition to the story that will unite them, they will offer us more rewards in the form of objects to transfigure, mounts or changes in the conduit system, but from Chains of Domination they will be in charge of unlocking the flight in Shadowlands advancing in its history. There will be no reputation building as in previous expansions. In addition, by unlocking the ability to fly through the Shadowlands, our curia will give us a gift, a new mount to add to our collection.
As they advance on the official World of Warcraft page, Chains of Domination will bring changes to the PvP system with the start of Season 2. PvP talents will be balanced and new rewards will be added such as more vicious mounts; gorms. The update also adds, in the case of Mythic dungeons, a new affix inspired by the theme of the patch and higher level equippable items.
Chains of Domination will emphasize the plot that unites the Jailer and the Maw and intends to uncover some secrets that started out at the beginning of the expansion. However, some of the news that they are preparing for this next patch are not yet fully defined so the release of update 9.1 is still undated.
Tabernacle of Domination is called to be a key raid dungeon, as Blizzard has commented that the showdown against Sylvanas will change the future of Shadowlands forever. It is also to be expected that the different difficulties it will have – normal, heroic and mythical gang search engine – will open in a staggered manner as is usual in the mmorpg of the Californian company.
We will have to wait longer to know the exact date of the launch of Chains of Domination but what is clear is that World of Warcraft fans have Shadowlands and history for a while.
