Christian Rasmussen will rejoin Era Motorsport for Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, pairing with Nick Boulle in the LMP2 class.
Rasmussen returns from a successful 2024 season
After anchoring Era’s LMP2 victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 26‑year‑old Dane joined AO Racing for the Rolex 24 in January and now reaffirms his home‑team bond for the two‑hour, 40‑minute Brickyard sprint. “I’m excited to be back with my friends at Era,” Rasmussen remarked, recalling the team’s shared triumph.
Boulle eyes a hard‑earned comeback
Having sat out LMP2 action for a year, Boulle sees the Indianapolis round as a chance to regain high‑downforce prototype footing. “I have been out of an LMP2 car and competition for a year, so it may take me a bit to warm up,” he added, stressing confidence in the car built by Kyle Tilley and the team’s execution.
Era’s continued focus on the end‑of‑season finale
While the Rasmussen‑Boulle pairing is exclusive to Battle on the Bricks, Era’s trio—Ferdinand Habsburg, Jacob Abel, and Naveen Rao—will resume the #18 entry for the IMSA season‑finale Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta next month.
