The 007 First Light mission, Against the Odds, kicks off with a bang, throwing players into the midst of enemies on a beach in Iceland without any weapons, setting the stage for a high-stakes, action-packed adventure.
To achieve the highest score, an efficient route is crucial, and the mission is divided into several parts, each with its unique objectives and challenges, starting with reaching the camp, where players must sneak around enemies using tall grass or large rocks as cover.
Initial Objectives
Upon reaching the camp, the first objective is to search the room, where players will find a briefcase, a murdered body, and a gun, all of which must be investigated to progress through the mission, after which they will have to leave the room and head into the first building on the left.
Inside the building, players will find a radio, a patch, a torn page, and a rocket launcher, all of which must be investigated, and then they will have to head out and continue making their way through the camp, using a machine to reverse a vehicle that blocks their path.
Overcoming Challenges
As players progress through the mission, they will encounter various challenges, including finding an antidote to cure themselves after being infected with a disorienting agent, and saving captives in the G9 and B4 containers, which requires using stealth and strategy to evade guards and overcome obstacles.
To save the captives, players will have to use a controller to ignite firecrackers, distract guards, and sneak past them, and then they will have to defeat the guards and obtain a storage key to free the captives, all while navigating through the camp and avoiding detection.
Final Escape
After saving the captives, players will have to climb a ladder to loosen a mast wire, creating a massive distraction that allows them to escape the camp, and they will have to follow the other captives and run until they reach the end, completing the Against the Odds mission.
With its intense action sequences, stealth challenges, and strategic objectives, the 007 First Light Against the Odds mission is a thrilling adventure that requires skill, strategy, and quick thinking to overcome, making it a must-play for fans of the series and action games in general.
