Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Secures Two-Car GTD Pro Lineup for 2027 IMSA Season

Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller locks in two-car GTD Pro lineup for 2027 IMSA campaign

Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller has confirmed a return in 2027, fielding two GTD Pro cars with unchanged driver line‑ups.

2027 Campaign Structure

The team will keep the same core pairings for a fourth straight season. Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg will pilot the #4 Corvette Z06 GT3.R, while Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims remain aboard the #3 Corvette.

Veteran Experience Drives the Line‑up

Garcia’s 19th season and Milner’s 17th underscore a deep‑rooted partnership with the program. Sims re‑joined in 2024 after clinching an IMSA GTP title in 2023, and Catsburg secured full‑time IMSA seats following class victories at Le Mans and in the FIA WEC.

Past Season Highlights

Chevrolet captured its second consecutive GTD Pro manufacturer championship at the Motul Petit Le Mans, marking the brand’s 16th title in the GT class since 1999. Milner reflected on the season: “The manufacturer crown is a triumph. The #3 car had its moments, and we celebrated a win at Detroit. The season’s performance speaks for itself, and we’ll fine‑tune to contend again.”

Championship Race‑Day Missteps

Entering the final race at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, the #4 car was a front‑line contender, but late‑race contact dropped Milner and Catsburg to third overall. The loss kept the team from a driver title, though the manufacturer victory remained intact.

Looking Forward

With the same drivers and the reaffirmed strength of the Corvette platform, Ben Bode, the team manager, conveyed confidence: “The history of our achievements is built on people and cars alike. Retaining our full‑season lineup fuels excitement for 2027, and the chance to secure another GTD Pro championship is a clear focus.”

As the 2027 season approaches, the combination of seasoned talent and a proven machine positions Corvette Racing in a strong bid for the next championship title.
