Disney confirms the launch of its new television platform in more territories during the first quarter of next year; New details about its contents.
Disney has recently held a meeting of investors with the aim of analyzing the economic results of the last quarter, a situation that the company has taken advantage of to explain the next plans with Disney + at the expansion level, as well as new details about its offer. So much so, that it has already been confirmed that the new streaming platform will arrive in Spain and other European countries on March 31, 2020.
Compatibility and news of the catalog
Thus, it has been confirmed that Disney + will be available in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and France within the first quarter of next year, more specifically on March 31, 2020, with a catalog that will present variations according to the country.
On the other hand, it has been confirmed that the platform will be compatible with SmartTV from brands such as Samsung or LG, something that was not clear until now, in addition to ensuring its compatibility with Fire TV streaming devices. However, Disney + will be compatible with the following platforms:

On the other hand, Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, has announced new details about the contents of Disney +, such as the arrival of up to 60 new titles on the platform during the first five years, to which we must add the large amount of Disney content present at Disney + from day one.
New content such as the Star Wars development series, such as The Mandalorian, which will be released next to the platform on November 12 in the United States, or the already announced series of Obi-Wan and Cassian Andor.
On the other hand, the head of Disney has confirmed that the contents under the R classification will not take place on Disney +, becoming available on the Hulu channel, such as Deadpool or Logan or series such as Family Guy. Finally, some Disney content such as Coco or Ralph Internet breaks will not be available on Disney + from the beginning, since they depend on agreements with other platforms still in force.
Disney + will be priced at 6.99 euros per month or 69.99 euros for a full year.
